The main factor that made me choose this college is that i have not secured good marks in joint entrance exam so i give wbjee and get a rank through which I get this college. And my passion is electrical engineering
Course Curriculum Overview :
My passion is electrical engineering so I chose this course. The curriculum is tough but relevant and faculties is also good and knowledgeable exams are held on a regularly basis. And the exams are little bit tough
Internships Opportunities :
No as I m in first year, I didn't get any internship but there is no internship come in college. You have to struggle off campus to get internship. Some of the main apps to get internship is indeed, linkedin.
Placement Experience :
Placements are good. Eligibility criteria to sit in placement is 8 pointer. Few of the most famous recuiters are Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, tata motors, maruti suzuki, wipro, tata consultancy services etc
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee structure is 6 lakh. And the per year fees is 75000. Annd no other charge is taken in the name of fest, events and in the name of any shit. There is no scholarship which I have. Only fees is 600000 for the 4 year
Campus Life :
The college life is overall good. Fests are held on a regular basis. There is a library with a good number of books. As college campus is small there is not many grounds to play but a decent amount of sports.
Hostel Facilities :
As the campus is small so there is no in campus hostel. You have to live outside the college in pg and hostels. Hostel ranges between 7k to 8k per month. And the hostels are worst than you think so avoid.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
