- Campus: Though the campus is not so big but it is perfect as it have such enjoyment and joyfulnees
- Faculty: The faculty here are the best they help you out when ever you need help.
- Scholarship they helped me in getting my scholarship svmcm scholarship.
Dislikes
- There are no such college hostel because the ones such as myself who came from too far and thus out of this state we would prefer hostel as it would have been much cheaper and thus affordable.
- There are no such bigger grounds in college.
Remarks :
Yes we have to be eligible for wbjee or jee mains entrance exam and must give that exam to get an entry in this college. I had a small interview about why did u choose this course and what does your father do .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our course is BTech in Food technology and this course comprises of development of food it's process of preparing amy packaged food . Our faculty has majority of PHD holders and our training and placement officer and our faculty are very good they help us at every step when we need them.
Internships Opportunities :
I got an internship in EGGOZ in gurgaon with a stipend of 12000 per month for 3 months to work and learn as an intern . The projects I have done is on Millets based diet such as we made millet based pasta by replacing refined white flour and including millet based ragi and bajra which would be more healthy and good for health especially for patients suffering from diabetes, hypertension and many diseases.
Placement Experience :
IT companies visit to college such as cognizant, TCS , Wipro , IBM, ACCENTURE, Capgemini and many more eligibility criteria is 6.4 cgpa . And average package of 3-4 pla. Core companies visit here such as Diamond beverages, ITC , IFB agro , Britannia which they provide a package of 3 lpa
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure of our college during 2022 enrollment was 550000 , but now during 2024 enrollment it has been 625000 . For TFW candidates it's 250000. Hence course fees changes every year or every 2 year
Campus Life :
There are therefore many fests in our college Anakronas , filantrophia, Avaahan sports event, mechotsav , civilution , Sampriti, eclectica , geekonix day and many more fests which you will enjoy the most as in our college fests always occurs so entertainment will always be there. Library has total many books we will get books when our new semester is started and have to submit the books of previous semester also . Avahan is the event when sports happen conducted by Technotkarsh . Ticl techno India cricket league is conducted where every department takes part for cricket Samaritans is the social club .
Hostel Facilities :
I stay in a rented shared flat with my brother and friends but though I have stayed in pg because college doesn't have its own hostel but you will get nearby pg here in minimum from 4000 rs to maximum 10000 per month with food so it totally depends upon you which is best for you suits your budget and suits your life too .

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
