- Structured placments and internship support may not be as robust as in more resource rich colleges.
- Science and computer labs while functional might need upgrades to stay on par with modern standards .
Remarks :
I didn't give any type of exams or interview. Students can apply from admission portals through which they can get thier admission done . Its a government website which help students to fill their forms online .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Program offered include Bcom, Bsc, B. ed and vocational courses , which caters to diverse acadmic interest. It provides theoretical and practical knowledge to the students. Faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable , with most approachable and supportive of students .
Internships Opportunities :
Certain department like commerce and science may assist students in identifying internship relevant to their fields. Being in kolkata, students have access to thriving network of industries , NGOs and research centers , even if the college doesn't directly organised internship.
Placement Experience :
Placements are low just like other colleges, but student who scored good marks in their semester exams and have really good skill might have good chance of getting jobs . The students can also become the a member of our union (faculty members).
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I paid 10300 for my first year , students can apply for scolership which really help them financially. The students get 10000 to 12000 rupees from scolership. Yes fees could increase after first year but it won't be much higher.
Campus Life :
Life at AJCBC is relatively simple and focused on academic , with opportunities to engage in social and extracurricular activities . While infrastructure might not be state-of-the- art, the college location and community atmosphere compensate. Students who take the initiative to get involved in club or external opportunities can make the most of their time here.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel facility in our college but the students can live in nearby pg's (paying guest).there are many pg's near our college. The rents are also affordable for the students . Students can also share flat with other students.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
