- The things I liked were the hostel food,hostel room,faculty.
- The infrastruture was not that much.fests were good
Dislikes
- The things which I didnt like were the placements.
- Even the course was not designed for students to make them industry ready.
Remarks :
The campus was good ,food was tasty,and accessibility was good to things ,there fests for us the hostel wardens were strict,the hostel room were clean and good .The course didnt make us industry ready.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course I chose was biotechnology because .I was interested in this field,and in 11th and 12th I opted for science .The qualification of the faculty was also good and they were good at teaching.The exams were timely.The difficulty as per me was not that tough
Internships Opportunities :
I interned at verka in punjab. which I had to pay for ,which was around 1000 rupees for a month.I got the internship by myself the help I got from my college was a letter nothing more .I learned the work process over there.
Placement Experience :
The placements were there just not for the industry we were studying for .As for me I got a job In avery different field from what I studied.The packages were also not that much for per month it was for 25000 The percentage of students getting placed were not that much.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees we used to around 150000 like per semester it costed 73150,admission fees was 25000.There were people with scholarship for students which costed them less and were told to not talk about it
Campus Life :
The campus life was good ,fests and festivals were mostly according to kolkata culture We even had library which was good as we got the books which were of nedd to us. Sports and extra curricular activities were not that much.
Hostel Facilities :
The food was very good.Never had to spend outside for food.The cleanliness was also there. Registration process was also easy and the hostel costed around 70000 per year.I stayed in hostel for whole degree there was no need for outside renting as it was safe and strict.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
