- There are some outdated machines in our lab that should be replaced.
Remarks :
1st of all I'm a Bengali and the college is on West Bengal so it's my home town. Other than that the location is good transportation is good talking about the academic point of view there are research opportunities and all the facilities are present so it's a plus point for me. Talking about the admission procedure i have already discuss previous there is a exam called AUAT you need to pass that with a minimum 30% mark or above 85% you can gat a discount.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are various important extra curricular activities are there including volunteering in various events, certification events, Industrial Visits, Industrial training camp, lot's of important lacture by various scientists from all over the world. Talking about the examination, they follow semister examination path means 1 exam at the end of the semester.
Internships Opportunities :
Yeah I hope for internship even it is compulsory for all the student of our department to have a internship during their BSC and Msc program. Recently Adamas introduced their own internship program or else you can get your internship from different other institutes
Placement Experience :
After you finish your degree you have the option to pursue I study or go for a job the eligible criteria is according to the company that is given you the job. the CGPA of 7.5 and higher is recommended for a good job. Companies like Mahindra, Wipro, TCS and different kind of tech giants also sunpharma Dr Reddy this kind of pharmaceutical companies come to our university for the placement. Talking about the highest and average package according to my knowledge the highest package till now in our university is 1 crore in law department and the average salary of other schools are like 3.5 LPA. Approximately 90% of the student are getting placed by our university. My plan is to get a job from our university after this degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise payment is around 1.5 lakh Sem wise payment is around 60000 During addmission 30000 along with 1st sem payment should be paid (30000 is the admission fee).. scholarship are excepted. U need to give one exam called ADAMAS UNIVERSITY ADDMISSION TEST (AUAT) if you score 85% and above then they will give you additional discount.
Campus Life :
Campus life is great. You can make various friends from various states. The libraries are open for you till 6pm for day scholar student and till 9:00 p.m. for Hosteller student. You can play games like football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, tabil Tanis, badminton, etc even there are inter school championship league etc. there are various clubs like art, music, flim, biotech,IT etc.
Hostel Facilities :
You can register for the hostel at the admission time . The hostel fees depends according to the accommodation like single AC room, single non AC room, double AC room and double non AC room and also there are options for triple bed and quarter bed. Food quality is avarage they give various food items.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
