- Nothing just the fact that seniors here are helping and the environment feels like home
- Campus life is good the ground and the pond specially are really good.
Dislikes
- There is a huge grabage pit that causes bad smell to come in class time to time
- The teachers often uses bengali making it hard for non bengali to understand.
Remarks :
I chose this college because it was close to my nani ghar and there were many relatives in kolkata, i must say that the college have two type of admission one is direct admission where you just need to pay some money to get the desired course the other is the examination of Jee or Wbjee with this you go through the councilling and they admit you.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is fine and the academics is good however the teaching method can be improved a bit, especially if you are a non bengali it will be hard for you as many of the teachers use bengali most of the time.
Internships Opportunities :
There are not many internship options in college for core jobs but for it jobs there are a bit of options, howveer most of the students choose to opt for internships manually as the stipend given by college related internship is extremely low.
Placement Experience :
Most of the students end up getting job in mass recruiting companies like tcs, accenture, itc and others some of them gets good job in companies like justpay but they can be counted on fingers while core companies get too less placements
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Semester wise fee is 72000, 800 is taken for books, 6000 for dress the dress quality is a bit low, in next semester you dont have to pay for the dress you only pay if you again want the dress, also they give dress cloth you have to get it tailored by yourself.
Campus Life :
Idk about the clubs we just started but there are two clubs all i know is that they ask for too much tasks to be done and for social life the students and faculty all are good and engaging it doesn't feel unfamiliar there.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel infrastructure is fine or passable i would say, food are good but some times they are not edible the fee of the hostel is 6000rs per month, you can apply for hostel with the college from the admission cell

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
