Remarks :
The main factor which masse me choose this college from the available list of colleges from wbjee is due to the placement aspect of this college. This college provides good placement with a over 85% in ground level. I would recommend this college if your wbjee rank is about 14-15k for cse branch only.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The main factor to choose Btech CSE is due to the increasing demands of SDE jobs in remote sector and also i have a passion for programming and coding. The faculty of the told branch is quite educated and well qualified maximum of them are PhD holders in their particular field and quite are gold medalist in the choosen degree. As for the exams their is 2 slots(internal) and end semester which held in December for odd semester and june for even semester. The slot test depends upon the college authority as the college is autonomous.
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite good as i have mentioned earlier the sole purpose of choosing this college rather than other colleges in wbjee is for the placement scenerios. According to the college data which it tells is 88% placement in the college but the ground reality is it is about 80-82% for the overall year or all the courses for a particular year. Many companies visit us form which Accenture, Capgemini, TCs, Microsoft etc are the best companies which offer great offers. The highest package which is offered is 27 Lpa and the average package id about 4.5-5.5 Lpa for overall and for CSE it is about 5.5-6.5 Lpa which is quite considerate for a tier 3 college according to the fees.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees structure for the academic year 2023-2027 is exactly Rs 6,00,325. For the semester it is Rs 78,300, Rs 76,575, Rs 76,075, Rs 73,075, Rs 75,075, Rs 73,075, Rs 73,575, Rs 74, 575 respectively. It includes all the the caution fees, registration fees, development fees, lab fees, and the other charges but you have to pay exam fees seperately which is Rs 1200. The above fees is for the general students and there are several scholarship provided to the eligible students. There are several categories such as Tfw ans Sc ans st categories. From the 2024 batch the fees has been increased to Rs 6,99,900 which is increased by around Rs 99,000.
Campus Life :
As for the campus it is not very big, in 10-15 acres of land their is two colleges present which hinders its presentably. Their are two fest organised every year One is KRITANJ which is the technical fest of the college and other is Navodaya which is the cultural fest of the college. And other small function are organised periodically. The library consists of all the nesecaary books and journals which are required for the college examination and have digital journals also. The college have fans lights table and desk in every classrooms and some of them has smart board also which enhances the quality of education in college.
Hostel Facilities :
As for the Hostel it is very average. The food quality extremely varies and comes good whenever there is first year coming and for the rest it comes bad or average. The registration is very easy we have to talk to the warden for the availability of the seat and if it is available then we have to pay 5000 admission fee and 6000 per month but we have to give 36000 together along with the semester fees. According to the present market it is quite affordable as we will be getting 3 times food and tiffin with tea. The hostel is present at around 700 metre from the college and it is outside of the college campus.

Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
