Remarks :
While now I'm studying in second year in this college, pursuing b. Tech in ece, I'd say that the college environment is over all satisfactory with good faculty and placement. The bad thing is the extra curricular activities which takes place once in while. We have 2 semester exams each year whose cutoff is 40 percent. Preparation can be done throughout the semester if someone studies thoroughly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this field of engineering because I had a keen interest in both hardware and software technologies and ECE brings both in one. The teachers here are very experienced and uses practical problems to solve statements.
Internships Opportunities :
No till now from college I haven't opted for any internship, but this year I'll do that as it is needed for future placement. The college also offers different projects to do under mentor which can also be published.
Placement Experience :
The placement cell in our college is nice and has a placement rating of more than 85 percent, the highest package till now is 27 LPA, average is 4 lpa. Companies like wipro, Accenture, capegemini come for campussing
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fees for Electronics and Communication Engineering here is 5.2 Lacs, whose average will be approximately 130000 each year. For CSE, IT the fees is around 7 lacs for 4 years course. The 5.2 lacs include registration fees, academic fees, caution deposit etc.
Campus Life :
We have overall two main fests one is cultural (Navodya) and other is technical (Kritanj) , apart from that we have several industry visits, workshops and events both cultural and technical throughout the year. We have different clubs (photography, painting, etc) some of which are ran by students only.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel, as I do daily travelling, but in the canteen I had food some times whose taste is good but the canteen is old, however the cafeteria is good and modern with nice food amenities.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
