Remarks :
College of Engineering and Management is a good college. It has some good and bad aspects also. let's try to talk about the good aspects of this college. this college has a big campus of 25 acres. also, it has a good value for money college. It has a TFW quota for poor students. the faculty is helpful.lab's infrastructure is so good for a CSE student. Labs are open 24*7 .ragging is prohibited on this college campus. the cultural and sports culture is too improved of this college. the college conducts the cultural fest (Spandan) and the tech fest(resonance ) every year in the presence of many big artists like Rupam Islam Ashes the local train etc. Campus life is so good in this college but some bad aspects also will be there like seniors are not helpful they are very rude and they did mild ragging. some faculty are not so knowledgeable. Let's discuss the admission process. You can rank a good score in West Bengal Jee or Jee mains. For West Bengal Jee the cutoff of cse is 40k.
Course Curriculum Overview :
the course case has its era. CSE is a good and knowledgeable course. You can get a job with this course. Getting a job in the software engineering field after reading in this department is quite easy for those students who have code knowledge or knowledge. the faculty of our college is so knowledgeable. Some faculty are from IITs and Jadavpur University so they are very knowledgeable persons. the fee of our college is 4.5 lacks without hostels. if you score more than 60 percent on your semester exam then you will get a swami Vivekananda scholarship for doing better. the exam was conducted in a very 6-month gap. the difficulty of the semester exam is not so high but it is average. if you study a minimum of 2 hours per day then you will score better marks for your bright future.
Internships Opportunities :
the internships which are offered by the college too, are paid internships means you have to pay for that internship. the college internship process is so bad if you want an internship then you have to try outside opportunities at this college.
Placement Experience :
placements are not so good Companies are not coming to this college nowadays. From a placement perspective it is not a worthwhile college but if you want a degree then welcome to this college. after seeing previous years' placement records you will say it is too good but the reality is those who are getting the job are getting off-campus jobs. College is not able to give you a job. so placement is very bad.
Campus Life :
campus life is so good and enjoyable but seniors are very bad at this college and do mild ragging college administration should take action against them. Spandan the cultural fest budget is 20 lacks and sports budget is 10 lacks in every year. hostel room and infrastructure are not so good. the food quality is very bad and the accommodation of the building is very very horrible for your health.

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
