Amazing college life in CEMK

- The main thing about this college is the campus because many of the colleges doesn't even have campus our colleges provided with a hostel campus playground with students can enjoy the hostel life
- And secondly the fest of our college is amazing every year students weight for the day of fest the students of 3rd year organise the Techno-cultural fest.
Dislikes
- The mess food is average as per the price that has been taken from the students .
- Music room needs to improved many instruments are missing .
Remarks :
Well after appearing for the 12th boards we had to appear for the West Bengal joint entrance examination as well as the joint entrance examination. As a computer science engineering student rank of West Bengal joint entrance examination needs to be around 15000 to 35000 , this criteria is almost the same as IT and ECE departments .
Course Curriculum Overview :
P our colleges are accredited under NBA thus each faculty are PhD graduate from IITs. Every faculty are very cooperative and very helpful the course provided by the college is for 4 years and as per the mentorship each faculty are is very much helpful. As per the teaching method lecture classes and labs are performed eventually on a semester basis and faculties and professors are highly strict in the case of academic studies.
Internships Opportunities :
Many MNC companies provide internships while recruiting the first six months they provide internships and the stipend is a minimum of 20000. Students can do internships from outside of the college but the college provides internships.
Placement Experience :
Our college has had a good placement for the last 5 years many MNC companies are recruiting students especially from CS backgrounds. Companies such as TCS Infosys Capgemini Cognizant HCL and many more are the main recruiters. Last year the placement percentage was 95%. Maximum MNC companies are recruited on campus in our college.
Campus Life :
The campus is good enough, especially during the fest total campus is lit up, it's the real beauty of CEMK. Our college has techno- cultural fest, our take fest is named Resonance and our cultural fest is known as Spandan. Every year many artist comes and perform at a concert. Classrooms are fitted with projectors and smart board and the academic building is provided with a library, as well as campus provides a hostel, playground, oat, gym and Music room.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
