Remarks :
Good aspects: i) Experienced and qualified faculty. ii)Modern and spacious campus with well-equipped labs, workshops, and classrooms. iii) Separate hostels for boys and girls with basic amenities. Bad aspects :- i) Concerns about fewer companies visiting, particularly for core branches. ii)Average placement package might not be competitive for everyone. Admission process :- i)Eligibility: typically need to pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and score well in entrance exams like JEE Main or WBJEE. ii) Application: Apply online through the respective exam website and participate in online counseling. iii) Selection: Seats are allocated based on your entrance exam score, reservation criteria, and preferences submitted during counseling. Preparation tips: i)Focus on entrance exams: Thoroughly prepare for JEE Main or WBJEE based on the prescribed syllabus. ii)Stay updated: Check the official websites of exam authorities and CEMK for the latest admission information.
Course Curriculum Overview :
i)CEMK's fees are relatively affordable compared to other institutions, especially with scholarships available. ii) The college provides suitable hostel accommodation if needed. here qualification of faculty are good and teaching method are so good and unique. here term exam or semester exam schedule is held on specific time of a year twice. and for an every year has 8 internal exam (CA exam) and 4 internal lab exam (PCA exam) is held. difficulty level of this exam is natural for students, because this exam are given lot of experience to achieve goals. here cost of study is Considered relatively affordable compared to private colleges. cost fees of this college for 4 year approximate 6 lakhs including hostel fees. Here so many scholarships are available for students likes Swami Vivekananda merit cum scholarship ,oasis and aikashree etc.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I haven't tried the internship yet. But I have completed many training for getting internship. It is helpful for my future to get a internship. Many projects are completed like calculator generator using python etc.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement is to prepare on domain knowledge like learn Java, python, artificial intelligence etc. and prepare for placement like solve previous years question and solve aptitude question. I'm not a graduate yet so I don't know how many recruiters are visited. but previous statistics of placement of my college is shown that college placement is modarate. Highest and average packages is offered by company are respectively 3.4 lakhs and 10 lakhs. As per college previous placement statistics is shown that persentage of students getting placement is 72% in last year. After getting the btech degree ,I going for higher study like Mtech.
Campus Life :
2 type of fest is organised in this college. there are SPANDAN (cultural fest) - month of April ,every year. RESONANCE(technical fest) - month of April, every year. In my college have vast collection of books, journal and online resources. College has provides amenities are projectors , screen and furnitures. here many type sports are conducted like cricket, football, vollyball, basketball etc. and college have organised a sport event (ATHLEMA) every year. Various Extracurricular activities is held in my college likes tree plantation,blood donation etc. In my college, so many clubs are there like cultural club, tech club , publication club etc. In hostel,food quality is not so good and menu is pre scheduled. For Registration process, college have provide specific details of registration process,fees and seat availability in hostel.for book or registration for a room in hostel,you should contact with college adminstration.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
