Remarks :
Factors like good quality of education, good faculty and good infrastructure made me choose this college. For the college admission students can write either WBJEE or JEE(MAINS). After successfully giving the exam students need to sit for WBJEE counselling through which this college will get alloted. There are no such offline interviews for admission. Only writing the WBJEE/JEE and undergoing the counselling process will work.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I got alloted into this course on the first round of counselling. Moreover this course is one of the best top notch course offered in this college. Faculties are also well trained and highly qualified in their respective departments. IT department has got one of the best faculties with high qualifications till doctorate from reputed and well organised institutions. There are total 8 semesters and three internal exams for each semester. The internals are ca1, ca2, ca3 which takes place once a month. These exams are not very difficult. Whatever is being taught in the college class becomes important for these exams. Their marks are added in the end sem exam.
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not yet opted for any internship programme. But our college has not ample number of internship programmes. Companies like Accenture, ibm, tcs, codeclouds offer internship programme. Students get involved almost in 3rd-4th year in such internships.
Placement Experience :
Our college provides decent placement after a course of four years. Companies like Accenture, bmc, PWC, tcs, cognizant come and they recruit students. The highest package till now is 14Lpa and Loweest is 3lpa. Average package goes somewhere between 4-5 lpa. Almost 90% of the students were placed in previous year. This year's data will be available soon after the process gets completed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees I'm paying is 1,50,000 for four years which in total is 6,00,000. Tuition fees is 60,500. Caution fees is 10000. University Registration fees is 500. Admission fees is 10000. Student development fees is 2200. Student welfare and sports fees is 1000. Library fees is 1500. Development and lab fees is 9075 and industry readiness fees is 15000. Fees for all category is same other than TFW. Tuition fees that is 60,500 is waived off for TFW scheme students. Scholarships like Swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship and nsp scholarship is available.
Campus Life :
This college has 3 fest total. One is technical fest, other is cultural and the other is departmental. Freshers' is also quite wonderful organised by our seniors. Books and journals are available in library adequately. The classrooms are well equipped with modern projectors for smart way of learning. The labs are also well modified with modern day technology which never becomes out of service. Overall labs and classrooms are well equipped and maintained at their best. College has inter departmental sports and also inter college sports takes place between all colleges in Kolkata. College has 4-5 clubs like coding club, graphics club, photography club, unstop club and so on. These clubs are improving day by day by focusing on core things.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are available outside the college. The college does not have its own hostel due to space problem. Outside the college there are many hostel and pen guest available which provide high quality food and are affordable at reasonable price. They provide WiFi (unlimited) and dinner and lunch also in a hygeine manner.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
