- Seniors, tournament of sports, friendly behaviour of faculty
- Campus Life is good but only for the people and your friends and some of the faculty are really good
Dislikes
- Placement is not so good and no internship is provided by the college
- Infrastructure is not so good and the fees taken for it is not justified atoll
Remarks :
First of all if u select this clg based on placement, infrastructure then u r doomed. The only good thing about this clg is the seniors and that's all , nothing intresting about the clg and the infrastructure is the worst of all the colleges in Kolkata
Course Curriculum Overview :
The only reason for me to choose this course was the price being low comparatively than other colleges and the professors are good too from 2nd year after you get your specific subjects.Also, the curriculum is not updated mind it as it was from MAKAUT
Internships Opportunities :
No, i haven't but am still trying in internshala, unstop and other such platforms and the clg doesn't provide any internships ,so be prepared to get it on your own. Or else u can wait for the placement drive
Placement Experience :
Placements are somewhat moderate and if u study the bare minimum, you will get a job in the recruitment process and it starts from 3rd year 6th sem and it goes upto the 8th sem 4th. Year and u need to keep ana average of 7.5 cgpa
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The complete course fee is 4.3 lakh and per semester is 50k and scholarship is available for sc/st / twf tuition fee waiver and the whole semester fee would be given to the student.Their is also student credit card scheme by West Bengal gov
Campus Life :
This clg is one of the best in terms of sports , extracurricular activities and their is a unity among students.Library is well structured and ample books are their in the library and the online system for the library is not so responsive
Hostel Facilities :
No their is no hostel available for students in the clg but while you come for admission all lot of flyers for pg, hostels would be provided to you by third party and best of all take a auto from the college's back gate and tell him to go to basundhara where all there are available

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
