- The campus is lush green with clean environment and with modern day amenities. Hostels are secure with face verification iris detection scanners and biometric fingerprint scanners.
Dislikes
- Faculties are mostly PhD from top notch universities like IITs and NITs.
Remarks :
Placements are great since the highest placement from btech department is a ground breaking 55lpa. Just a little hard work and attentiveness will bring great Placements. Although it is too much competitive in IT sector, the curriculum for academics in Adamas University is really great with PhD faculties from IIT delhi and dhanbad. I didn't need any competitive exam to enter, since 75% in overall and 60% marks in science group is enough for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course since it offers high placement for the studious. Also I have a huge knack of computer science. The teaching method is splendid and assuring. Sometimes it's not up to the mark for 1 or 2 faculty members but rest are gems from IIT Delhi and Dhanbad etc.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship yet. Internships from Wipro, Cognizant, Capegemini, Infosys, TCS, Intel etc come and recruit a large portion of students. Under internships, projects are offered with roles like project head, assistant project presenters etc.
Placement Experience :
Placements are excellent with an average cgpa over 7 preferable. Highest placement from our department is 55lpa. Recruiters like capgemini, Intel, Infosys, Wipro, cognizant conduct seminars and mock interviews and grooming sessions. I have planned to opt for Mtech in distance while working on a job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For first semester 27000 is the one time registration fee. Every year we have to pay 1lakh 80 thousand rupees. That is 90 thousand per semester. And this structure is constant, therefore fees doesn't increase than said. Svmcm scholarship is available. Student credit card also available. You can request a bona-fide letter for the fees structure for any bank formalities. Also for BBA.LLB they have to pay 84000 per semester for 5years.
Campus Life :
Name of the fest is Adinova and it is conducted in February. Apart from that major pujas are celebrated at university. Every month new research papers and journals are added to the library and you can find a variety of books in all of the four libraries. There are clubs for variety of activities like sports, drama, music, dance, innovation, robotics, coding, social work, fashion, literature, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I have rented a room in barbaria 10 mins walking distance from campus. The hostels are clean and huge with 24x7 staff available. Security is tight with biometric scanners fingerprint scanners, face detection etc.

Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
