Remarks :
Our college recorded 100 percent placement in the last year. Students need to qualify WBJEE exam and they have to secure a rank within 5000 to gain admission to JGEC. There are three subjects in the WBJEE syllabus Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I can choose core and non-core fields concerning my interests. ECE connects both core and non-core. The teaching method is highly satisfying for the students and it is highly recommended for every student. Faculty members are very helpful. Semester exam is not so difficult to pass the exam. There are 40 percent marks to pass the semester.
Placement Experience :
After 3rd year students of any branch can apply for placement. In the last year, top recruiting companies include Cognizant, Voltas, Capgemini, Infosys, L&T, and many more visited. The highest package in ECE was 27 LPA on campus and the average package was 8LPA.In the last year, 100 percent of students were placed.
Campus Life :
The biggest cultural fest in this college is named JECLAT and the biggest technical fest is named SRISTI. There are lots of books available in the college's central library. The classrooms and labs are good. there are four playgrounds on campus and there are lots of cultural and technical clubs available in the college.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
