I took admission in this institute after clearing my neet exam that is an all India examination for entering the medical college I choose this college because this was one of the best college among all India to study medicine based on my neet rank.
Course is totally followed according to the National medical council guidelines it is also followed all over India for the medical students. The faculties are the prominent doctors of the West Bengal because only the best of doctors managers to be a professor. There is practical and theory classes goes side by side from the first semester to teach you the subject.
There is a matter to the internship program after the complete of your academic course but there is no other type of internship that is famous among the student but you can do the research program along with the teachers.
After the completion of 4 and half years of your academic days you have to go through a internship program of 1 year that you can't speak you will get a salary of about 30000 per month in this internship program if you managed to be in the top hundred of your batch you will get a job of house surgeon with the fees of approximately 50000 per month after that you can easily aval a job in private hospital at cost of 72- 100000 per month easily
Fees of each semester is 4.5 thousands and there are total 9 semesters. That is no increasing fees person is that and there is only 5000 rupees admission fee just for one time. If you are a student of West Bengal board then you can get a scholarship of about rs 100000 per year.
The campus is bot haphazard, the hostel is small and there is less number of accommodation for boys in the government hostel, Q the hospital space is also a little disorganised in terms of patient load that is huge.
Hostel amount is adequate for the girls but there is less I accommodation for the boys. The hostel rooms are good hostel experience is very bad. the mess is messed up. There is not renovation in hostel for long times
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
