- You get the best of college festival every 2 to 3 months where you can enjoy the college life amidst the hectic medicine journey.
Dislikes
- The hospital area as well as the college area is small with old infrastructures that are not maintain properly.
- The boys hostel is in very poor condition with respect to infrastructure as well as the quality of living

You have to attend the neet ug examination for admission in medical College. I choose this college because this is one of the best college in West Bengal to pursue MBBS and it was best according to my neet rank
Course Curriculum Overview :
The guideline from the National medical council is followed all over the India as a curriculum of MBBS students. the examination occurs yearly according to the NMC guideline and conducted by the West Bengal health University .There are the best best doctors of West Bengal or other part of India to teach us about various subjects of MBBS ,the teachers are the prominent doctors and master in their field to teach us the subject and to handle patients in real life
Internships Opportunities :
After the completion of your academics of 4.5 years you have to go through a mandatory internship program of one year with a salary of about 30000 per month you have to learn the practical aspects of treating a patient in a hospital setup as a part of your degree that is a lots of pressure of work during this time to teach you the practical aspects of treatment and handling patient in real life situation .the private internship programs are not popular among the students but you can participate in research program along with the professors of different subject that gives early scholarship of about 50000.
Placement Experience :
After the completion of MBBS there is no compass placement but if you manage to be in the top 100 of your batch you can get a job of house staff shop for 1 year with a salary of 50000 per month with very less time of duty but if you don't manage to be in the top 100, you can join any private nursing Home at a salary of about 60000 to 80000 per month as per the location of the nursing home and the duration of your duty. You also can set up your own clinic after the completion of the duty where you can expect fees of any amount based on your location and popularity
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The monthly fees of this college is 750 there a total 9 semester each containing 6 months the admission fee for the courses around 5000 the fees do not increase year by year. you have to pay 1000 rupees in your first year extra to avail the log book .you can manage scholarship up to 1 lakh if you are a West Bengal student
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of the college is old fashion and the overall area of the college is little small. This college organizes the best medical fest of eastern India with lots of celebrities and sports and events .there is also small festivals in every 2 to 3 months like reunion or fresher programs. there are separate clubs for dance debate quiz drama cricket and football in the college so you can flourish your extra curricular activities and hobbies with the hectic life of MBBS. the library is functional from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. reading room is fully furnished and air conditioned and the common room is well decorated and air conditioned. you can have avail book or journal during the college time from library.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel quality and quantity for the girls is quite good but in case of boys there is less number of accommodation every year. the hostel room of the boys are totally messed up with no renovation for years and very poor infrastructure. the canteen in the hostel is not good in terms of hygiene taste and environment however the cost of accommodation in hostel is only 12 rupees per month including the electricity and water charge if you don't get a hostel then you have to rely on outside paying guest or personal flats that will cost you around 5-10 thousand for accommodation per month and food is based on your expense

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
