Remarks :
The easy commutibility from my house the friendly facilities, the tea stall outside is the core of all friends and seniors to share their experiences and help us out about anything that we face issues with moreover I just loved the cozy vibe of my collage
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course was excellent the teacher and everyone were very supportive the classrooms were really well furnished with air conditioning and projecters for better understanding of the lessons one to one sessions were also provided when needed
Internships Opportunities :
Marketing intern in BT, I was a marketing intern in British telecome for 3 months where I learned many things and also provided my knowledge there moreover was a very helpful journey there too loved the experience
Placement Experience :
Placement cell is very active so ample amount of opportunities past year we had 90% of our seniors placed in big companies like HCl TCS BT and half of them are earning quite a fortune it's regarded as one of the most placement oriented collages from techno
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have not opted for hostels personally but few of my friends did so I do have some ideas about it, hostels being very very clean and providing rooms for 2 at a time along with food included the rooms were decent and ragging is negligible
Campus Life :
Campus Life would be like old calcutta adda culture NO RAGGING we have only seniors who wanna make friends and help us in every aspect the events that we have for sports culture and and also tech related stuff goodness it's just awesome here
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel Life is not bad here it's just like being at home except with the fun of being with friends hostels provide food and wifi so there is no issues with them as such hostels are really cozy and clean

Placement Experience :
Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
