Mixture of feelings in college life
Remarks :
In asutosh College, good placements and faculties are available. No, there is no such group discussions, interviews or written tests for admission. Exams are held as per semester. Admission process is online. When the form comes out, we have to fill up the form online and had to give required documents through online. The cut off of this college is 90%
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is very much interesting. In this course, we can learn many interesting things like photography, editing, photoshop, and we can communicate with publics too. The teaching method is offline. Difficulty level increases with the semester.
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not opted for any kind of internship. I was sick this year but in the second year, I'll have some experience and I will do some internship in companies like abp ananda, Zee 24 ghanta, r Bangla, times of india, radio mirchi
Placement Experience :
I have seen many seniors, some are at good place working after completing this course. But some have bad luck, they didn't got any kind of opportunity or job placements after graduation. If no campus placement is offered, I'll learn some activity which will help me in the future to grow or will start some small business.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
(Semester wise)The admission fees is 250, laboratory fee 8780, session fee is 220 and the tuition fee is 450 per month. Library development fee is 300, lab development fee is 200, gymnasium fee is 50. Svmcm(Swami vivekananda scholarship), oasis, and kanyasree (K2 and k3) are available for students in the college.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is not that much exciting. It's boring mostly. I have not made many friends, there are 2 to 3 friends in college. Every year freshers happen, famous bands comes to perform as chief guests.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
