I had to face an interview along with my scorecard of MAT exam for getting into the college... It's a premium business school with good marketing faculty...This business school is driving all the respective courses structurally... According to my experience it's an actual place which can help to find out your dream as a prospect and convert the prospect as an exclusive lead with giving 100% to individual...and a big thanks to my CRP team who helped me a lot to make my journey successful at the peak as I've been selected in a market leader company (Asian paints) with a good package...But one thing the college need to improve that the college should connect more and more industry visit program for the marketing student...
I was passionated to take marketing as my specialization because it's such a field where you can achieve lot of incentive,, glamorous package with a good exploring job with different challenging situations and travelling lot of places...My mentor ( faculty head in marketing) Sabhyasachi Dasgupta sir is a scholar in PhD and guided me from the day one in such a way that I am able to accelerate my skill as to be quite perfect as per the corporate needs..The exams are structured in a very disciplined way like weekly basis exam through which you can verify how much you are developing weekly basis...and also the semester exam - it's a managerial level exam through which you can give the input of your managerial level thinking and the analysis of your business mindset...
I had done my internship on general trade in the FMCG leader ITC and done my live project in Dabur with respect to modern trade... During internship my project was to understand the effectiveness of channel management sales.. During my live project in Dabur..my project was to optimise the b2c sales of HPC and food products
I'm glad to make my cv with most employability and most experiences as a fresher through getting opportunity to be selected as a intern in FMCG sector in ITC and excelled my skill in modern trade through DABUR live project.. Finally my skill through internship and the workshop on my class presentation with public speaking results my final placement in asian paints as a Territory sales officer. The highest package offered by the company is 12_14 lakh and the average package is 7 lakh...The placement team is highly responsible and production which make the MBA journey easier for the 100 percent placement
I had to pay 835000 for the two years with an affordable installation ...The admission fee was 90 thousand and remaining 745000 I had taken education loan for which college loan department also supported a lot... within 20 days the loan was disbursed after getting admission
Campus life is overall good..the serendipity culture program is organised by globsyn regular year with a fantastic and enjoyable scenario...Apart from these, the college has also a CSR ( corporate social responsibility) activities which is driven by the KYLF Board which is a student union
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
