- The faculty of this college is very good . Teachers focus on every student nicely, if any one of us face problem then they will immediately help us
- The extra curriculum activities of the college then the facility of attending seminar and library is also very helpful
Dislikes
- Few Classroom are small so it is over crowed sometimes
- The amount of assignments and project they used to give us is sometimes we feel very pressurised before exams
Remarks :
Good aspects for this college is there faculty.... faculty of mathematics hons of this college is very good, there are lot of extra curriculum activities in the college, the senior junior relationships are very good...if juniors face any problem seniors will help immediately. Bad aspect of this college is few Classroom are over crowed for that it cause problem for teachers to Focus on each and every student particularly. And the admission process of this college is very easy...it takes admision through online, students have to fill there form and upload the documents and the college publish a lists on basis of merit and if your name is there you r selected and they will gave you the details to contact them
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because it was my fav subject since childhood and also because it has a huge range to options for you after the graduation is done but obviously it is a little bit difficult that other course I thik but if you practice regularly it will be easy for you. Faculty members are highly qualified and they are always ready to answer your doubts. And the teaching process is also very good. Per year 2 semester takes place and before each semester there are internal examination which takes place at your own college
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opt for any internship. Cause in this course there are no internaship available in our college. The courses mainly offer in this college is hons and genaral subjects so placement availablity is not there in our college
Placement Experience :
There is no campus placement available. But after graduation there will be a lot of options available for you like you can do masters, mca, can apply for govt jobs, many more. I currently choose to do preparation for govt jobs in baking sector rather than doing masters but my plan is there that I may do masters the coming year
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure of Asutosh College is very affordable. Fee structure of mathematics hons with physics and chemistry in general is cost around 6000 per semester including lab fees and all....and if you take statistics and computer science in general then it will cost 9000 per semester. In a year two semester take place. Yes scholarships are available for the students like Swami Vivekananda scholarship which gives nearly 18k for science students and etc
Campus Life :
There are many extra curriculum activities in the college like APl which is cricket tournament, ASL which is football tournament, food donation camps to the needy people, freshers and farewell department wise , blood donation camps and many more. There are huge variety of books on different aspects in the library of our college, students can easily check out on them. There are few social grps that are run by students if you are interested they will take you and if you are not interested they will not disturb you.
Hostel Facilities :
No sorry I didn't opt for a hostel because my house was near by the college so I used to take bus. But my few friends took pg near the college so I knew that there are many pgs available near college, and u can home deliver the food or you can cook alone

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
