My short review of my college
Likes
- The campus was one of the most memorable paces as it had lots of place to hang out
- The teaching faculty was great. They helpeed the students a lots
Dislikes
- The hostel bathroom were like slum area.any hoetellers and less bathroom
- The classroom did not have AC installed and so it wa s hot during summer
Remarks :
The main factor was how cheap the fees were. We only had written test for admission. The test was not that hard and once we passed the faculty called us and explained about the cources, placement and free structure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The university offers wide range of cources for Civil ,Architecture ,law, design ,carpentry, agriculture etc. I chose agriculture because i have interest in farming .The teaching faculty was good they really care about the students and always there to help. Every semester we gave two exams and the difficulty level was average
Internships Opportunities :
Yes i have opted for internship in company called Agriplant. The projects we did were improving the quality of plant to survive harsh condition and also make fertilizers according to the condition. I did this intership for 15 months.
Placement Experience :
Every year companies come for recruitment in our college recuiters from companies like infosys, vmart, google, microsoft and some agriculture companies. Students are eligible for placement once they are in 5th semester. Highest package being 250000 yearly and average 150000 yearly. The percentagge of students getting placement is about 40 percent.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is rs 25000 prr semester. And 200 rs for exam fees which you have to pay ebery exam and rs 200 every year for celebrating a festival. There are different scholarships available, national scholarship and state scholarship The fees for complete course is 2 lakhs and its. Not increasing it is the same.
Campus Life :
Campus was great.It is clean and well maintained .Every year we had Rajni festival in month of october and some local movie stars would come and perform. The library had different books not only study material but also novels and poetry. Classrooms were good .. We had sports in month of november And other activities such as touring farms. We did not have any social groups
Hostel Facilities :
Yes i have opted for hostel. The hostel buildingis good and rooms were good. Hostel mess was average We get meat once a week and egg twice a week. We can apply for hostel rooms while doing admission ,we can ask for hotel room form and apply.

Honest Review of LPU B.TECH CSE:QUALIFIED FACULTY BUT RIGID PLACEMENT RULES
Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
