- Campus life is so peaceful. Campus size is very large and it's so greenery here so you can fully enjoy the nature and peaceful life here if you keep the academic stress aside.
- Some of the teaching staff is so supportive and help you at any point. so you have to be check yourself which teacher is good and can support you.
Dislikes
- But as i said some of not all the teachers are good. Some are here to just create problems for you so be careful and instead of teaching staff, clerical or academic staff is very poorly behaved having no manners for how to talk. They treat students like nothing and can't even respect your parents
- Academic stress is too much for a student to handle. With regular 9-5 classes, you have to give exams 4 times in a semester including hourly, mid term, practicals and end sem examination which is a little bit stressful.
Remarks :
The college is one of the reputed for rankings and research work. It's among the top state Agricultural Universities and yes if you are a resident of Punjab you can take admission through PAU CET otherwise you have to go for ICAR AIEEA UG or CUET UG.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is by ICAR Guidelines but it's a bit stressful for a student to manage so many classes continuously from 9-5. Some staff is good but not all. You can avail merit scholarship if you somehow manage to be in the top 10 and maintain your OCPA but the amount of the scholarship is very low around 6000/year.
Internships Opportunities :
Not me but one of my friends got an internship at a landscaping company as I told the package was less so you have to deal with it. Internship opportunities are very limited you have to be aware of yourself if you want to go for an internship.
Placement Experience :
Placements are decent. You just get emails from the placement cell once you are in your final year. But the companies are very less with very small package amounts. Most of the students don't go for on-campus placements. The average package is around 4lpa.
Campus Life :
Campus life is so peaceful. It's not so happening. You can expect 3-4 big events here in a year. Kisaan mela occurs twice a year and the youth festival is also organized once but you can't expect performances like what you get from a private college.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
