- Dr. Manmohan singh auditorium. This auditorium have a capacity of 2000 persons to sit at one time and this is fully air conditioned.
- Dr. DS dev examination hall which have high security so that any unfair means can be avoided in the examination.
- Cafe area which have vendors like Nescafe and amul which offer good quality of food to students.
- Dr. MS randhawa library which is central Library of the university have high amount of books to study and have newspapers from 1950 till now for reading and library have a very calm and peaceful environment.
Dislikes
- Road to the forestry area which is very damaged and is not repaired.
- This university conduct three examination in one semester so the student get never free and can lack the time for good personality development.
Remarks :
Good scope in the agriculture and a A written test of AAT was conducted by University for entrance. Benefits of choosing PAU - Best faculty in India in the field of agriculture. -Good infrastructure for the students. -well equipped laboratories. -good scope for career. -Better accomodation facilities for students. - seminars by international scientists and professors. Things need to be improved:- - Air conditioning in lecture rooms. -Security of bikes and Vehicle is less due to high outsiders. -Markets area need to be improved. Any student willing to join PAU can join by entrance test of AAT and CET AAT exam is conducted by University after 10th class and university offer 6 year integrated course to students (in case of AAT EXAM) CET EXAM is conducted by University for addmission after 12th exam. STUDENTS PREPARING FOR NEET AS WELL AS JEE CAN GIVE THE EXAM FOR THE ENTRANCE IN THE UNIVERSITY. A councelling session will be held by the university after the result of CET and NEET.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed this course due to broad selection of career after graduation in the field of agriculture. Teachers are highly qualified and experienced in the university. all the faculty is ph.d level and have high reaserch and education experience. Exams are pre scheduled in the acadmic planner. Exams have a different pattern in which your practical knowledge is tested and how much you have learnt in the field rather. Framing doesn't work in this university examination.
Internships Opportunities :
University offer internship in the 4th year of the degree in which the students use their practical knowledge in the fields. Students in the last year can join krishi Vikas Kendra located in all the districts of punjab and they can also enroll themself in any agricultural based companies like brittania swaraj etc according to their interests.
Placement Experience :
University have setuped a special placement and councelling cell in which they offer placement form many national and international companies. Students have a high chance of job in the foreign countries with good salary. The average salary offered us 12 lakh and highest can go upto 20 lakh. University claim 100 % placement rate as students can also become enterpreneur.
Campus Life :
University is a good in case of fests and events. Recently university conducted national youth fest 2024 hunar 2024, which was first time conducted in the northern region. University conduct sports meet every year students are give scholarships and other benefits if they do good in sports. Many Instagram pages and channels are run by the students of the PAU in which they appreciate the students doing good in the field of academics sports and other arts. Hostels are good and well hygienic and food in the university hostels is good. There are 14 different type of hostels for boys and and all hostels have have different mess. Affordable food is provided by the message average monthly bill of food in mess is 3500.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
