Remarks :
Easy route to college from my home and one of the best college around and it's faculties are very good and helpful. The surrounding of this college is very helpful to concentrate on your's course. The admission process is based on your's 12th board number. You can apply for admission then they will provide list of students who are able to admission through merit list based on your's 12 th board result.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I personally choose this course for net exam and it will provide opportunities to work in abroad that's why I choose this course.and also the surrounding of this college is very peaceful. Faculties are always there for you to help you to improve your's perspective about course.
Internships Opportunities :
There been some intership opportunities to work with professor or senior PhD student that I choose to work with them for few month but I solely focus on my preparation but you can work with professor or PhD student in your's subject to understand the topic or course better .
Placement Experience :
First of all its a government degree college not private. You have to earn degree then prepare for job in any field either it's government or its private. My graduation degree is completed just waiting for my final result and preparing for net exam to eligible for college service commission exam .my aim to become a professor.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My 1st year total coast including admission, exam fees , center fees, books and hostel fee was around 75000( college -8000 and others 67000) 2nd year and 3rd was also same nearly 8000. And also the extra tuition fee 18000 including all three years.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very friendly. it's has library where you can find different kind of books written by famous authors which increases your's perspective about your's course subject that enhanced your's ability to understand the topic deeply.college also provide large classroom , playground where you can play cricket, football etc game there.
Hostel Facilities :
Honestly speaking, college don't provide hostel facility but you can get mess or hostel near college in a affordable price range and there's food also good. You can also rent flat or room at very affordable price range but the draw back is you have to cook by freeing yourself from your's daily busy life that's the major drawback that's why most of the students choose either hostel or mess.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
