Remarks :
The faculty of the physics department is really good. Based on the results Higher secondary students get selected interviews or written tests required to be admission to this college. A merit list published on the base of higher secondary. According to the merit list, students get admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have great feelings for physics and it is my favourite subject so I choose it. The faculties of the physics department are highly qualified teachers and their teaching skills are skillful. Two exams are taken in a year and it is not too hard. The admission fees are quite low compared to the other colleges.SVMCM scholarships are given according to the score.
Internships Opportunities :
A lot of companies like TCS, Wipro etc give job opportunities for students. They give the first internship to the students and they can secure good salary packages. A lot of projects on electronics, and quantum physics are given by the companies.
Placement Experience :
Every year renowned companies come to our College for offering jobs in their company for physics students. The best students are selected. The lowest and highest average packages are 2.4 LPA and 12 LPA. The students who need a job can join the companies. After graduation, I will do a master's in physics.
Campus Life :
For the new 1st semester students freshers' parties are arranged and for last semester students farewell party is arranged. The fests are enjoyable. There are a lot of books on the individual subjects available in the library. A camp named "NSS" run by the students helps to collect data from various places and helps the poor people. The hostel food quality is not very good. To gain admission to the hostel an application form is filled up. The hostel fees is about 8K per year only for room rent, electric bills etc. For food, other fees are required.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
