- The college is good . Teachers are help ful . Infrastructure is old .but campus is so beautiful it is surrounded by trees and very calm and peaceful although it is placed on a busy city
- Teachers are so good they always help and suggest for future what to do

- The infrastructure for labs are so old model
- College routine is not properly followed.
Remarks :
No there are no entrance exam students are admitted based on 12th standard percentage. Based on 12 th percentage merit list publish and then students get selected for admission. Higher percentage students get admitted first and then according to percentage remaining students get selected.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to make carrier in academics and research and this college is the best bsc college in our district so i admitted in this college. Faculties are highly qualified majority of professors in our department completed phd . One of our professor discovered about 5 new mushroom species and named one on our college name.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes internships are available. But internships vary depending on your degree subject. As I'm botany student so I will get chance in mushroom growing companies or agriculture based companies for internships.
Placement Experience :
As it is a general bsc course so here is no placement. After completing bsc from this college you will eligible to admit in our university for msc and then you can give net exam and become professor or go for research also you can join private sector. After getting degree I'm going to take admission in msc in a good university and then I want to go for research.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Approx 6000 admission fees including tution fee , lab fee, exam fees, on 1st year you have to pay additional 500 for registration. Per year approx 6000 , 100-400 fluctuate every year. Hostel fees is not included in admission fees if you want to stay in hostel you have to pay additional hostel charge which is not much approx 1000 per month including food. Fee structure is same for all students there are no fee waiver for sc st OBC. You will get scholarship based on merit like svmcm which is 18000 per year science background and 12000 per year arts and commerce background.
Campus Life :
There are library almost every boobs required for our course is available there. Every year annual sports takes place. There is a gym in our college also and basketball ground etc. Every year once annual fest occurs. There are excursion if excursion is mentioned in your curriculum.
Hostel Facilities :
As this is my hometown so i don't live in hostel but hostels are good. Foods are higenic.aprrox 3-4 days chiken item. But you can also live in messes here messes are not very expensive. It will be better choice than hostel.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
