- classrooms are mainly destroyed the students during fights
Remarks :
Mainly, by JEE ranks students get into this course. The cutoff varies year to year. For lateral students there is a admission test to get into their needful course. After JEE ranks are out, students are called for counselling sessions with the respected teachers and also management people on why they are choosing this course and not other.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always wanted to learn about software and that's why I chose this course. The faculty members are very helpful. They were always there for us when we face any problem. They shared notes and also managed some online classes before exams when the syllabus was pending.
Placement Experience :
From 7th Semester, college campusing starts. Students get placed in highly qualified companies, mainly MNCs like Accenture, Capgemini, LTI Mindtree etc. Most company has a minimum requirement of 60% academic score throughout the degree. Most students plan for higher studies so do I but let see where and how my future goes.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fees of this course is 4,08,000 but yearly we pay 1,02,000. There are many scholarship available for students. Swami Vivekananda Scholarship for meritorious students. Also other financial aids like- student credit card for West Bengal and Bihar students. For other caste there is a scholarship named oasis is available.
Campus Life :
The college is not only about studies. It taught us many activities too. There are several clubs like music, dance, drama, nature, NCC. Every clubs had a competition. Also students participated in Technical fest, College fest, celebrated festivals etc.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
