- I personnaly like you have to attend less class,leverage to bunk,better placement record and time to time cirkcet and fest make me happier and stree free.Good support form fsculty ,time to timme exam,no any mid sem ecxam,paper is easy for stufne t means scoring even at your worst you can score 8 cgpa.The college has excellent infrastructure, including modern labs, smart classrooms, and a vast library with a wide range of books, journals, and digital resources. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, ensuring seamless connectivity for studENTS.
- As an educational institution Haldia Institute of Technology provides outstanding facilities that include state-of-the-art laboratories together with a large library and contemporary teaching spaces which improve student learning. The faculty members bring industry experience combined with supportive attitudes to guide students toward practical learning that solidifies their career potential.
Dislikes
- The school campus buzzes annually with multiple cultural activities and technical festivals enabling students to demonstrate their creative capabilities. The sports facilities usage together with split activities and well-preserved residential facilities work to maintain both academic performance and extracurricular participation.Haldia Institute of Technology possesses excellent classrooms and infrastructure but some system weaknesses need correction. Better industry relations together with enhanced core company visiting opportunities would strengthen placement opportunities beyond their current state particularly for non-IT branches. Office facilities at the hostel need better upkeep to enhance both maintenance and sanitation. Students sometimes encounter problems with both their access to water and connection to Wi-Fi so their daily tasks become more challenging.
- Even though faculty members show expertise they dedicate their time mostly to theoretical areas instead of offering practical guidance. Trained students would benefit from additional hands-on learning opportunities in addition to authentic industry project participation initiatives. The remote college setting creates barriers to patient access between the campus and offsite recreational options. Improving travel connections from the college campus to main urban areas would facilitate students' journey capabilities. Current administrative procedures both for payments and documentation need improved optimization to reduce student waiting times.
Remarks :
I selected Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT) because of its high reputation alongside great placement potential and functional facilities. Students experience a balanced educational setting at the institution along with teachers who bring extensive experience and training that serves industry needs.Wbjee written exam.. My WBJEE preparation included consistent mock testing while dedicating my time to study Physics Chemistry and Mathematics through practice of previous year question papers. Good aspects: The educational facility boasts outstanding physical infrastructure along with detailed laboratories together with a large book bank and practical placement opportunities. The university grounds create successful learning spaces combined with vibrant extracurricular programs. Bad aspects: The college requires improvements in its hostel accommodations and enhanced partnership opportunities between industry for practical programs.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My entry to Haldia Institute of Technology's B.Tech Information Technology program came from my deep fascination with software development combined with database expertise and technological advancements. The program harmoniously combines theoretical concepts with applied education to teach essential fundamentals of Java and Python programming with Database Management Systems and Computer Networking alongside industry-needed Software Engineering topics. The teaching staff consists of qualified and experienced mentors who support students through their work because most staff members hold M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees. Through a combination of class lectures classroom sessions practical lab work together with project work students understand advanced material more effectively. Semester exam happen on time must be in june and december.Paper is quiet easy and you can pass even reading one night beofre exam.You have to make sure when you writing ur answer stick on the topic.

I chose to pursue multiple internships at Haldia Institute of Technology since my academic start. Students benefit from internship placements at Haldia Institute of Technology thanks to the company connections with TCS Wipro Cognizant and Infosys. Students have the chance to work as Software Developers Data Analysts Cloud Engineers and DevOps Interns. The available internship stipends start at INR 5,000 and reach up to INR 15,000 each month based on both company and internship position.accenture 2 month free,2 month 15k approx.infosysy 10 k per month for 16 weeks and so on. As part of my internship at a company I worked on automating cloud infrastructure development with CI/CD deployments while conducting setup operations for cloud infrastructure and developing automation scripts for deployment workflow refinement.

Campus Life :
Prayukti, Rivera, annual cultural fest, annual sports, intra-college cricket, football, tennis, cultural programs, Foundation Day, and many functions are held regularly. Big functions mostly happen in March and April, and sports events take place in December and January. All books are available in the library in both online and offline modes. The library has a good collection of books. The college grounds offer complete sports facilities, including cricket and football grounds, and spaces for indoor games like badminton and table tennis. The active student social life includes running online communities and discussion groups for easy communication. Groups like Needs, Hit Times, and Hit Inside exist. Some are NGOs, and others are media teams.

My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
