Remarks :
I didn't face any interview or written test. I was selected on the basis of my class 12th result. Actually my elder brother had graduated from this college and he recommended me to study in asutosh College. Our college campus is quiet good and fascinating.
Course Curriculum Overview :
From class 12 I had a great interest in mathematics and I heard that the mathematics faculty in asutosh College is quiet good. And after joining I realised that the faculty is really impressive, they always support us. The HOD Prabir Rudra sir is very humble and the technique of his teaching is really really good. The other teachers are also very much helpful.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, i opted some internships. I know data entry, DITA computer course. For those reason I applied for tata consultancy, capgemini in this types of company. In the 6th semester our college organised some internships based on stock market, data analysis etc.
Placement Experience :
There is very less placement after completing this course. This is very disappointing thing in this college. Firstly I thought that I could get a placement after completing this course but that thing not happened

Campus Life :
Name of our college fest is UDAAN. We enjoyed very much in our college campus. The friends of my class is not my friends, they are brothers. Our college organised many sports like cricket tournament (APL),football tournament (ASL), badminton tournament, sports(KRIRA),chess tournament etc. I had read a lot of books from our college library like KAKABABU, PROFESSOR SHONKU, Real analysis books and many other.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, i opted for a hostel. The food is normal in hostel. Somedays it is very disgusting. 4 student had to share one room . The size of the room is not so big. We had to adjust in those small rooms. Our seniors helped us to get hostel rooms.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
