- I really like the campus of my college it is full of greenery and looks beautiful as it is always clean.
- The faculty of our college is very cooperating and they speak very politely to every student if they face any difficulty they handle it very nicely and patiently.
Dislikes
- I only don't like the difference on the infrastructure of our college as there is some building which lacks the central Ac facility.
- The transportation costs of bus is very costly as it is 40 thousand in 6 months it also depends upon your distance of home from college.
Remarks :
In our college the management is very cooperating in perspective of students. There are different committees for addressing the student issues. The labs of our college is extremely well managed and designed for the students to practice different experiments. Bad aspect is not every classroom has Air condition facility which creates a problem in summers. I had taken scholarship test before taking admission in this college and scored above 80% so there was wave of 18000 in my first semester fees. As such I had not prepared much for the examination as it was a moderate exam based on your 12th class and basic information.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed this course because of my personal interest in biotechnology as you are aware nowadays with the growing world the technology needs to be more precise with our health concerns and this course totally did justice with my level of interest. Most of the faculty members are holding Doctorate degree in different fields with experience of approximately more than 6 years. Every 6 months you have your semester exams of 50 marks and lab test of 50 marks which sums upto 100 and in between you have class test to review your performance. There is also marks in your attendance, class performance and extra activities so that you can take forward these things with your course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees of my course is 1Lakh 44 thousand. If you belong to any category like SC, ST, OBC then you can avail for scholarships so that you can get yearly deduction on your fee structure somewhere amount 33 thousand. If in you batch there are 3 of the top scorers they can get wave off in there semester fee for every 6 months based on their SGPA and is counted in the merit scholarship. There is scholarship for the ward of sports achievers which is 100% in semester fees and including the admission fees. They provide scholarship for defense personal upto 10% in the semester fees.
Campus Life :
There are many fests which is been conducted in our college. AGOMONI which is a fest of durga puja conducted in the month of September or October. Then there is diwali fest, holi is been celebrated with lots of colours. Then every year there is a fest called ADINOVA in which we have music concerts and lots of fun. Library is good of our college as you can study there everyday from 9am to 9pm even on Sundays it is open for you. There are many sports events conducted in our college for everyone yearly if you are a hosteller Then there is hpl which is cricket league for hostel students and similar for football. There are 3 to 4 grounds for every sports you want to play. There are many clubs in our college for each and everybody personalised interest and is run by the students itself like the biotechnology club , dance club, music club , robotics club where they can feel free to showcase their talent and perform in different events
Hostel Facilities :
I am hosteller and I can say that the food quality is good unlike the other colleges. If you are a vegetarian you can take other options. There is a bread book present everyday if you need bread in your snacks or breakfast and you can get it if you write your name. You get milk everyday in dinner. In our hosteller every week Sunday we have a special dinner which is really good. In every special occasion the menu is been changed and informed to us before. I have taken 2 sharing room without ac.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
