Remarks :
The good things about this college are The faculties are qualified and helpful. Placement is decent. The bad things about this college are: The campus size is small. Less number of classrooms. One can take admission in my college through WBJEE counselling and direct admission. Counselling is conducted on the basis of JEE Mains and WBJEE rank. Cut-off changes every year.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because of market demand. The faculties are qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching method of most of the faculties is good. Exams are conducted in every semester. 65-70% students pass the exams. The difficulty level of exams is moderate.
Placement Experience :
TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture are the top recruiters. The highest package in our college i s 32 LPA at Amazon. The average package is 4.34 LPA. Approximately 60% of students get placement. My plan after getting the degree is to secure a job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For the first year the fee is Rs. 178000. For the second year the fee is Rs. 147000. For the third year the fee is Rs. 149000. For the fourth year the fee is Rs. 151000. University registration fee is Rs. 2700. Exam fee per semester is Rs. 1200. The total fee of TFW category students is very less as compared to general students. The total fee is increasing year by year. Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means (SVMCM) scholarship is available for the eligible students.
Campus Life :
The tech fests in our college are PARIDHI and TECH EXTRA. The name of the cultural fest is ADVAYA. Many books and journals are available in library. One can also access research papers in digital library. Football and cricket tournaments are conducted by our college. Clubs for extracurricular activities like drawing, singing, acting, dancing etc are also present.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
