Why i chose Bengal Institute of technology: A personal reflection.
Remarks :
The college has a strong reputation for its academic quality, faculty and the success of its grades. The offered here were aligned with my career goals and interests. The college is located in convenient area with access to transport, making it easy for me to commute. I had to appear for a counselling as part of the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this because i have always been passionate about it and i wanted to deepen my knowledge and skills in this area. The course content aligned perfectly with my career goals and aspirations. The faculty members are highly qualified, with many holding advanced degrees such as Masters or PhDs. Several professors also have valuable industry experience. The term exams were conducted on schedule, with enough time given between the end of the syllabus. The exam dates were well-planned and communicated in advance.
Placement Experience :
The college has a robust placement cell that actively connects students with leading companies in the industry. The college has strong ties with various industries which helps in arranging job fairs, on-campus interviews, and collaborations with ferms for placement. While the college may not provide direct campus placement, the skills and knowledge I’ve gained the course have greatly improved my employability .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I paid approx 147000 on the first year and will be paying 120000 per year for the rest of three years, which includes tuition fees, caution fees admission fees, lab fees, apart from these we have to pay ?1200 before each semester exam for the registration process of the examination.
Campus Life :
In the month of August the tech and cultural fests are conducted in which the students from all the years and departments are given a chance to show their skills by participating in various activities which makes the dres fest more enthusiasting. The classrooms are very spacious with comfortable benches which helps students to attend lectures more properly and focused. There are various groups runned by the students themselves. Life in campus are pretty good with your mates with whom you can create plenty of memories together, lots of activities are there which builds up the interest among students.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel mess offers a variety of meals with good nutritional value. While the menu is rotated regularly. The meal timings are quite flexible, with breakfast, lunch and dinner being served at regular intervals, snacks and tea are also available in between. The mess and dining area are well maintained, with regular cleaning schedules in place. The hostel rooms are spacious and well ventilated with basic furniture such as beds, study tables and chairs. The application process for hostel typically starts at the time of admission and the rooms are allotted based on availability and priority is given to first year students or those coming from distant locations. Hostel fees are typically paid on a semester basis and the charges depend on the type of room and facilities.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
