Remarks :
You got admission in this college accordibg to your webjee score card rank , you you can also apply through direct cotta admission whera you have to pay much higher fee like 2-3 lakh extra for core branches and 4 -5 lakh extra for non core. And there is no any test or interview for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Facault are okay , courses are some as in another colleges not updated , If you are here for higher studies then it will be okay , and sufficient for study , but for placements you have acquire skills more than yourself.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes , you can get some paid internship in College, but from your side you can apply on many other intership in off campus or search on online, but atlast for all that things your skills matters . Skills can makes you far better than others.
Placement Experience :
Placements and job opportunities are okay type , that all matters on your skills , but previous year the placements percentage is not much good, if you don't get campus placement, that's all on upon you, so you have to grind yourself whole 4 year to learn skills.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure for whole year of b tech is 5,64,750(without hostel) and with hostel you have to pay 12k per semester only for hostel not for food. And fee for all courses are same. If you are a W.B Citizen then you can also apply on Swami Vivekananda's schoolarships worth of 60k per year
Campus Life :
Campus life is awesome, as you can also search on net the campus area is huge . And there many clubs , society, which will also guide you in better way . All type of facilities like sports , 3 big playgrounds , basketball court.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes , many hostels are available in hostel campus in which p5 hostel are good, but you also got a hostel outside the campus , which is ranichak hostel which is 1.2km away from college, hostel infrastructure is okay type and 4 members are alloted in one room, but rooms are bigger.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
