Remarks :
This is a average college in west bengal. It helps students for their higher studies as well as industrial skills. To get admitted in hit haldia students have to give wbjee exam or jee main exam to get a seat in hit.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The infrastructure campus area faculty members libraries workshops are very well designed in hit. There are 3 ct and i semister exam in a semister. The difficult level is easy to moderate for qualified in college exam.
Internships Opportunities :
I am in first year so i did not get any internship but after 3rd semister students get paid internship in many companies like tcs, iocl, hpl, adani power, tata motors etc. Students make some research with faculty members in out clg.
Placement Experience :
Hit gives students a good placement opportunity. If a student maintain good cgpa in every year he or she will get high salary package offered by any company. The highest package is 30 lpa and average is 4-5 lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tution fees per year is 140000 rupees and near about 20000 rupees is development fees and 10000 rupees are other fees. There are tfw quota in our college which allows students not to give the tution fees.
Campus Life :
Hit have a big campus area well designed infrastructure, libries,workshops etc. There are many fests in our college mainly revera the main feast of our college. There are many ngo, club, society in our college.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel and mess is also good. provide various foods affordable prize and also healthy. There are good wifi connectivity and also have indoor and outdoor playground. The hostel fees is also affordable.

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
