- College location is good and food is easily available outside campus and malls are nereby.
- Time is sufficient to prepare for competitive exams

- Small campus size with old Infrastructure
- Hostel accommodation is less only few students get hostel rest stay outside on pg
Remarks :
Jossa and jee main score are the main factors for choosing this college. I choose this course beacuse it was the best option i could get from jossa and best thing about course is you get lot of time to prepare for other things I wish professor were not biased and should indulge in placement process. Earlier events were superb but from last year professor are takeing over control and making events hard to conduct and not supporting students. Crowd is huge for this small place and connectivity is good because campus is situated in city. No i didn't face any group discussions, interviews or wrotten test for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Out of 10 only 2 teachers are helpful rest are very unsupportive and demotivating. And professors from south are baised and help or give good grades to south student only. Somewhat make students industry ready and most of it is theoretical knowledge. Exam takes only 2 times per semester mid sem and end sem and difficulty level is medium.
Internships Opportunities :
Majority of students go for summer training in psu like vocational training and only one student got internship offer at ServiceNow. Companies do come in college for internship but only cs and it students get offers.
Placement Experience :
Above 7 cpga is good and can sit for most of the companies. 1) Approximately 80% of students have secured job offers till 24/02/2025. 2) Highest Package: INR 55 LPA ( microsoft off campus), Average Package: INR 10.09 LPA ,Lowest Package: INR 3.60 LPA. 3) Top recruiters for Electrical Engineering students include: Sigmoid, Adani, Aditya Birla, JSW, JPL, GMMCO, ZS, ICICI Bank, Reliance, Deloitte, WD, Samsung, Adobe, Hyundai, Oracle and many more. 4) only 1 Student got internship offer at ServiceNow. 5) Data Analyst, Graduate Engineer Trainee(GET)

Campus Life :
Eclectika the cultural fest takes place in the month of February. Samar the sports fest takes place in January. AAVARTAN the tech fest take place in November. E summit takes place in November. Books are less and availability depends on time of exam. Projector and one smart tv and no ac is there.
Hostel Facilities :
Only few people get hostel rest stay outside of college on pg. Mess food is poor but hygienic. In one room 3 students have to stay. Hostel registration is done through official site of nitrr and fees payment is done in sbi collect.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
