- The college campus includes a nice ground, a basketball court and food trucks along with canteen and melbourne cafe. The environment around the college is very peaceful and quiet with full of nature. The faculty is very helpful and will always be present there to help you succeed. The campus life is very nice you are going to enjoy your 4 years a lot.
Remarks :
This college had a great campus along with great faculties and also has a nice environment which made me choose this college. I didn't faced any group discussions during the time of admission. I took admission through WBJEE examination rank and also you should atleast have 75% in your 12th boards.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because it will be very much helpful in my future as this course will nourish me to be confident in every aspect of the life make me ready for corporate life. The facilities are very much qualified and they teach very well and very relevant topics which has a high chance to come in exams. The exams are held in January and July and the difficulty level of the exam are not so hard you can easily get good marks if you study just a little bit every day.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internships yet but the college provides internship in companies like tcs, Accenture etc. with a minimum stipend of atleast 30-35 thousand each month which can also go upto 60 thousand to 1 lakh per month if you're qualified enough.
Placement Experience :
Placement and job opportunities are very good in this college the college tries it's best to get you a job in a nice paying company. There are some top recruiters which come to our campus for placement every other year like SAP Labs, CISCO, MICROSOFT, Capgemini and many more. The eligibility criteria for placements are usually 75% attendance with a minimum of 6 cgpa. Microsoft visited this year and offered a package of 20+ lakhs to students. The highest package ever offered by a company is around 60-70 lakhs and average package every year is around 7 lakhs. Around 80-85% students get placed every year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
During the time of admission you have to pay amount 97500 for 1st sem and for the 2nd sem the fees is 95000 and from 3rd sem onwards the fees is 87000 every sem. So the fees for the complete course is around 7 lakhs. You will get a lots of options for scholarships in which the minimum you can get is 35000-40000.
Campus Life :
The campus life in the college is awesome you will have a fest in every month and 2-3 small fest every month. We have tech fest, cultural fest , sports fest, literary fest and many more every month. There are every types of books available in the library. There are many clubs you can join like the coding club, literary club, environment club, photography club and many more. Almost every other month you will get to see a sports event in the college and also there are online gaming events organised by the college so there are many extra curricular activities you can do which will keep you busy very much.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
