Likes
- Get to know a lot of new people and get experience of understanding the peoples and hanging out with them
- Placement are pretty well as compared to any private college
Dislikes
- Infra is pretty bad , hostels are less in numbers , sports facilities are not enough
- There are lot of restrictions on timings of hostel and campus , can rome around only till 9 pm
Remarks :
It's actually the mistake that land me here I just fill the counselling on basis of college ranking and cutoff not by veryfying them and I put this college on top, my biggest mistake till now. The only way to get admission is th. rough joosa and csab counselling
Course Curriculum Overview :
Again I haven't chose this couse this course chose me , I wasn't have any other option. Faculty are good but it depends on subject basis like for applied chemistry we have assigned faculty who teaching experience of 21 years while for physics,maths PhD scholars are teaching us
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internship but. Alot of internship opportunities are present from different iits and some foreign universities of germany. The projects depends on what you are skilled and interested in and so the roles.
Placement Experience :
Placement for my branch os okaish highest salary of 15lpa and lowest of 6lpa and average of 8 lpa, but the placemnt percentage is 30 . But for other branches it is as good as average of 16lpa. My plan is simple , I am investing in myself learning new skills improving my communication skills
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
General student: 150000 total fees which includes tution fees,development and all type of other fees . Income below 1 lakh: 18000 and no tution fees . Income between 1 lakh and 5 lakh: 18000 and 25% of tution fees = 70000. Sc and St : same as income below 1 lakh.
Campus Life :
There is fest month of December and January starting with samar - sports fest, avartan - tech fest and concludes with ectectica - cultural fest. There are other small fest tha t go around the year. Mostly engeneering books are available but library is accesiible only 10 hors a day mostly during college timing so you can say of no use Sports facilities sucks , a small gym opened only for two hours a day.
Hostel Facilities :
I had opted for hostel but couldn't get because hostel are less in numbers so they are given in basis of jee rank and there is also reservation in that also . But from 2nd year reservation things kept on but now you get hostel on basis of previous year cgpa. Hostel is quite affordable in comparison to pg which costs around 70-80k while hostels only for 55k.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. They are very easy to approach and helpful in nature, they help us solving doubts and gives us tips in study.

There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

Placement Experience :
From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.

The highest offer received in college is in crore. Around 85% of the students get placed at the end of the 4th year.
