Remarks :
Wbjee rank 1508 admission were taken offline and in that rank this was the best college in West Bengal. Cutoff for btech goes too 100 - 20000 approx in decentralised you may get admission in high rank also

Computer science and engineering is in demand.ecam are taken too seriously .cse is tougher than all courses in university.choose it department instead of cse . Cse is too tough in this university...
Internships Opportunities :
No , because I didn't get any opportunity. There is too much academic pressure in 2nd year specially for cse background students. I haven't started any proper project work. Just preparing for upcoming opportunities

Placement and intership are not too well but average it's ok for cse students it's too tough to get placement opportunities because till 4th year they have back in many subjects. For it it's too nice
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
30000(odd sem)+25000(even sem) 9700 for hostel in every sem 1200 for exam fee. You have to pay 1000 extra if you have back in any subject.no any reservation is given for other state students. Reservation is only for those who have domicile
Campus Life :
Fest held once in year in November or December. Library is too nice . Sports and extracurricular activities spices are very less here there are too many sports club and tech clubs in university which you can join
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is very good here mess quality is too bad you have to pay extra for mess on daily basis. Registration is done by online form first you will get temporary allotment after that you will got permanent. Locality is not too good.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
