The fees are less than most of the colleges. The environment of the college is good. The campus and the performance of students here make me choose this college. During my time of admission, the cut-off rank for the CSE course was around 4k rank, for the IT department it was around 5k and for the ECE department, it was 8k. The admission process in this college is the same as in other colleges. (For the students who aren't from West Bengal)
I chose this course at MAKAUT because of its strong reputation for providing quality education and its comprehensive curriculum that aligns well with my career goals. The faculty members are highly qualified, many with PhDs. My course Consists of 8 terms of examination. The cost to study at MAKAUT is reasonable compared to other technical universities in India.
No I haven't but I will get opportunity in next year to apply for internship. Here students apply for internship by themselves as university doesn't provide internship facilities, but via learning web development, AI ML we can apply for internship via ourselves, so it's totally depends on students, how much he/she is attentive and hardworking.
This year, the highest package which has been received was 12 l.p.a by our senior. From the seniors, we got to know that the average package, this time was 8 lpa. And almost 90% of the students get placement this year, which is pretty good. Well, I have planned to study further after graduation because I want to be a professor in future.
Annually many fests are organised in our college like many different courses are here, and the students studying those courses organise many fests for students this year total 3 fests have been organised within 6 months. There are like 33-40k Book are here in the library for academic purposes. The university organises sports day as well that too on an annual basis. There are many technical clubs, poetry clubs and lots of other clubs present in our college. Hostel food and facilities are good, they provide food 4 times in a day.
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
