Likes
- Firstly my English department is so good . I love their teaching style and they are very helpful.
- They organised seminar on different topics and it is very helpful for students.
Dislikes
- There are some staff in our college and they are so rude.
- The area of sports ground is too short .
Remarks :
It is a good college in every aspect.No I didn't face any group discussion, interview or written teste for addmission, the addmission was totally based on last board exam's number.They were judging people by their marks .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose English honours because I love to learn literature and I choose English because it is international language and it will help me to does something in future . Faculty is pretty good and there is nothing deficulty about my English department.And previous year I got Scholarship of 12000 rs.
Internships Opportunities :
Actually I don't know about it but I heard that some students of our college get job from some company . And I don't know what is the name of company and what are their plan but yeah there is some facilities about internship in our college.
Placement Experience :
As I'm doing a general course so there are no facility about placement or something and I don't have any idea about others department but somedays ago my college organised a interview session for our senior to get job but I don't have any detail information about it .
Campus Life :
Actually I'm not interested in any fest or something but our college organised freshers program, saradia utsav , Saraswati Puja and more programs. They organised sports some days ago and there is no facility of hostel and also they don't provide food but there is a canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
Mathematics at JU
Placement Experience :
Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
