Remarks :
KOLKATA MEDICAL COLLEGE IS A ONE OF THE BEST MEDICAL COLLEGE ALL OVER INDIA. WHO PASSES FROM THIS COLLEGE WHO BECOME DOCTOR. SENIOR DOCTORS ARE HERE IS VERY HELPFUL AND PATIENT FULLY. ADMISSION IS BASED ON UG AND NEET EXAM RANK, THE NEET QUALIFYING CUT OFF BSc 50 percentile for general category and 40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC. I AM ALSO CATAGORY OF ST RESERVED CAST. I RANKED 61 PERCENT ON UG AND 54 PERCENT FROM NEET AND MY CUT OFF WAS 40 SO I EASILY QUALIFIED FOR ADMISSION. DEPARTMENT OF COLLEGE IS VERY FRIENDLY BUT NEGETIVE SIDE OF MY DEPARTMENT WAS LIBRARY WAS NOT LARGE FOR ENOUGH STUDENTS, THE TEACHER TO STUDENT RATIO WAS INSUFFICIENT AND LOW, LABS ARE OLD FROM THE SIDE OF TECHNOLOGY, AND TEACHING CONDITIONS ARE NOT SUCH GOOD, BUT COLLEGE IS BEST FOR MEDICAL STUDY.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I CHOOSED NURSING COURSE BECAUSE I AM INTERESTED ON IT. AND ITS AFFORDABLE COMPARED TO OTHER COURSES. TEACHERS ARE GOOD FOR TEACHING BUT CONNECTION BETWEEN TEACHER AND STUDENT IS LOW. THE EXAM OF NURSING IS MODERED TO DIFICULT LEVEL, YOU NEED TO WORK HARD FOR CRACK IT. THE TOTAL TUTION FEES FOR B.Sc. in nursing 40000 ruppes and avg. fees per year is rupees 80000 to 1.5 lakhs.

ALL STUDENT GET A SLIPT WORTH RUPPES 50000 PER MONTH DURING INTERNSHIP PERIOD. IN THE COLLEGE 1 YEAR INTERSHIP MAKE YOU A COMPLETE DOCTOR. TATA MEDICAL CENTER OFFER YOU A SHORT TERM ON UNPAID INTERSHIP.
Campus Life :
AGON IS THE FEAST OF MEDICAL COLLEGE. BOOKS ARE VERY GOOD AND INFORMATIONABLE, COLLEGE DEPARTMENT DISTRIBUTE SOME BOOKS FOR STUDENTS AND SOME NEED TO BE BUY. WE CAN BUY BOOKS FROM LIBRARY ALSO BUT THE LIBRARY IS NOT ENOUGH FOR BOOKS. CLASS ROOMS ARE GOOD BUT NEED TO BE CLEAN. I STUDIED FROM MY HOUSE TO COLLEGE.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
