- Infrastructure is not great it can be better
- There are a lot of dogs in the campus that make life difficult
Remarks :
I was interested to study pure science and this college is great for science the admission process was smooth and counseling was done online to get admission you have to take iiser aptitude test or you can apply via jee advanced these is no interview or group discussion
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is world class you can learn everything in great detail i chose mathematics and the academics is also good the faculty are qualified enough to teach you whatever is in the sylabbus the exams are mid sem and end sem and tests in between the different level is above average fees is not thag much there and no scholarships provided by college you can get scholarship ny applying to government schemes or some scholarship are provided by some organisation which will be mailed to you
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are great you get to do internships in summer you cam apply to any project you like under a professor you like if they have free position in their lab you will get a interships there are also some programs that you can apply if you are qualified then you can get internships abroad stipend depends on the professor
Placement Experience :
The campus placements are not that good as this is a science college and people preffer to get PhDs abroad although a few people get recruited in TCS and Deloitte and some labs highest package is 11 Lpa and average is 7Lpa Percentage 9f students placed ate very less almost 2 to 3 percentage I plan to do prepare for a job after this degree.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is chill there are not much restrictions or curfew annual fest called inquesta happens in march but due to financial constraints it has not happened on a large scale library has all type of books required in academics and various research papers and encyclopedia available class romm is average with a projector clubs are active there are various clubs that conduct cultural event and sport events Hostel is good for 2 years you have stay with 2 other roommates and in 3rd year you get to live with 1 partner overall hostel is good mess is 9kay they serve bengali food alot hostel fee is included in college fee you have live in campus as it is residential campus

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
