- Gym - there is a Gym room in our hostel .

- Mess food quality is not up to the mark.
- Rest everything is appreciable and there is nothing else to dislike
Remarks :
There are only 3 medical Colleges in West Bengal that have playgrounds on their campus, NRS is one of them. It is one of the most prestigious colleges in eastern India. Though it has so many good aspects there are some bad aspects too like only a few beds for the patients as compared to the patient's load. I got admitted to this college through the National Medical Entrance Examination (NEET-UG). Cut-off lies in between 2k-10k AIR
Course Curriculum Overview :
As all all know all those who enter there are future doctors, so no doubt that it is a very prestigious course. It is a 5.5-year course in which a total of 19 subjects have been read like anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry in 1st year. Pharmacology, pathology, and microbiology in 2nd year. Forensic medicine, community medicine, ENT, and eye in 3 ed year. obs, gyne, medicine, and pediatrics in the final year Then there is 1.5 years of internship. The faculty are the real doctors who teach us and also treat patient
Internships Opportunities :
There is a compensatory 1-year internship that is incorporated along with the 5.5 years of MBBS course after that if somebody wants then they may do that but without an internship, MBBS degree is not given to anyone
Placement Experience :
It is the greatest thing that everyone passing out from the course is a professional doctor they can practice any they want. In private clinics, there is no fixed limit of income and if anyone joins in government or private hospital annual package is around 10 lakh
Campus Life :
There is an annual fest in our college it happens between Jan to March. There is a large central library where all types of books are available. Annual sports competitions between different medical Colleges and intra-college matches are nothing new in this college. For boys and girls there are 2 different hostels, UG and PG hostels are also different. The canteen is located in the hostel so you don't have to go outside the campus. The hostel is on the hospital campus which is very helpful Food quality is also good in the canteen

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
