- The rules and regulations of the is too strict. You have to maintain 75℅ attendance.
- There are not hostels in meghnad saha institute of technology
Remarks :
If you want a study environment then this college is for you. You have to write the WBJEE exam to get admission to this. You can also get admission through management Kota. You just need a decent rank in WBJEE for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the Computer Science and Engineering branch because the placement is better than the other branches. The teaching faculty is good. The faculty is very serious about the students. You can get the SUMMER scholarship if you are eligible.
Internships Opportunities :
There are no companies who visit to college for internships. However many of the students opt for internships during their 3rd year. If you want an internship you have to try for off campus. The college will allow you for internships.
Placement Experience :
The percentage of students who secured placements last year has experienced a slight decrease compared to previous records. The highest package offered was approximately 32 Lacs, while the average package stood at around 5 Lacs. Renowned companies such as Accenture, TCS Digital, Practo, Infosys, Planetspark, McAfee, Thoughtwork, Hashedin, and others actively participated in the recruitment process to hire talented students. Additionally, numerous students from various streams and academic years were fortunate enough to secure internships in different roles.
Campus Life :
The campus of the college is too small. But still, you can enjoy a good campus life here. There are a lot of clubs in the college. The official tech club is Megatronix. The cultural festival of the college is known as Advaya.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
