- Campus Life is joyful you can wonder it is in the heart of city but inside it the peace is unique.
Dislikes
- As nothing is to dislike. But there can be some advancement in the infrastructure. New building are should be built as respect to number of patients coming daily
- Laboratory lab can be advanced as new report.

Every year it celebrates its foundation day, convocation, and a college fest named crux is also celebrated.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I'm currently pursuing MBBS here . The fee is very less and is same as other government colleges of West Bengal. Teachers are so helpful. You can apply for various scholarships here under government regulations.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes . I will do once my course complete. The college itself provides internship after completing the degree exams . As our senior said the during internship you have to do duty of 10-12 hours in a day.
Placement Experience :
After 4.5 years we have to complete our internship of 1 year in this college for which you will get stipend as per government pay . After that you can apply here for hosestaff and can join others hospital also.
Campus Life :
Campus is situated in the heart of the city Kolkata. In front of Victoria memorial and very near ravindra sadan metro station. It has beautiful playground which can be used in night. You can apply for hostel and I'm sure you will get hostel. The foundation day is celebrated in January month. The fest named CRUX is celebrated every year in September - October month. In 1st year of mbbs you will get dormatary hostel .and from 2nd year you will get room with 2 bed with your friend.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
