RGMCH: an emotion for MBBS students.
Remarks :
Our college has a student friendly environment, far from the city with enriched greenery , we get privilege to enjoy academic fest scientifesta and cultural fest Fraigma , both of which are observed with pomp and grandeur. Faculties are awesome and all of them are eminent professors of India. That's why I chose the college as my first choice.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the MBBS course to become a doctor and to become eligible for upcoming NExT exam for higher studies. The faculty student ratio is quite impressive here. All of the facilities have at least MBBS and MD degree. There are three internal semester exams and at the end of the course we have to give to the final prof exam.
Internships Opportunities :
In medical field, students don't have such placement in company. They work in an internship in their college hospital and they get paid by government. Stipend amount is approximately 30000 per year and the duration is mandatorily one year.
Placement Experience :
As it is a government medical College, we get the opportunity of internship with approximately 30000 rupees of monthly stipend at the end of MBBS course after 4.5 years. After completion of internship one can go for post graduation or can get house-staffship, rmo, gdmo jobs as per their ambition.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees structure is so much affordable here (only 9000 Indian rupees per year) as it is run by state government of westbengal. Financially unstable students can avail Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship through which they get 60000 Indian rupees per year. Minorities get Aikyashree scholarship via which they can avail approximately 20000 to 30000 Indian rupees per year.
Campus Life :
Annual cultural fest is Fraigma and academic fest is scientifesta. These programmes are held in the month of August and September in a befitting manner. These events are well organised and extremely enjoyable. Classrooms are digital and well decorated. Library is enriched with books of Indian and foreign authors. Volleyball court, badminton court, cricket and football play grounds are available in campus. Social groups and clubs are still in making phase as the college is in juvenile phase.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is well equipped, neat and clean. Meal quality is above average with fixed rate. Easy registration process is available during the time of admission. Each rooms in the hostel is alloted to three students in general circumstances.
Interview Experience :
You have to crack the NEET exam to get into this government medical College. After cracking NEET , the all India rank and state rank will be released and you must have a decent state rank to get into this college. After clearing the written exam of NEET , you don't have to face any group discussion or interview.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
