- Infrastructure is on the average although the faculties are totally awesome , cool , generous humble and friendly
- campus life is good if you're extrovert , for the introverts its gonna be a bit tough although they are gonna get their company sooner or later
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is certainly on the low as compared to other NIFTs ... ours is the smallest campus
- Except from infrastructure certain labs have machines which are no longer suited for industry and should be replaced with new ones
Remarks :
I got to know about this college from my Uncle who is an alumni of this prestigious Institution , at first it was difficult to make my grandparents understand what's Nift and why Bftech but then eventually everything fell into the right places as time passed, Admission procedure is smooth and one needs to practice for General Aptitude Test (GAT)for BFTECH, as per the new rules anyone from any stream(12th) can apply for it , although for the B.Des you need to prepare for situation test too.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Faculties are very much qualified and are mostly alumnus of NIFT , methods of teaching varies from faculty to faculty but the teaching process is really good which prepares the students to be industry ready from the very 1st year. We seldom have exams we have juries/ interview based presentation where we have to present our work , difficulty level is normal . Fee hike is approx 8% per annum and students to get Sarthak ( Scholarship based on need of financial assistance) obviously not everyone applies for it and genuine cases are treated accordingly. Udaan Scholarship is one more Scholarship which is female exclusive and more info can be found about this on NIFT's official website
Internships Opportunities :
Yeah I do have opted for an internship and would be joining from 3rd of June . Its a 15 days internship in one of the top Fabric manufacturing sector in Vapi,Gujarat For the 2nd yr students this 15 days internship is more like an educational trip where we are not giving much Input from our side but are instead learning from the place... so this one is generally Unpaid although the Apparel Internship which would be next year ... is gonna be paid
Placement Experience :
Placement and Job opportunities are fair yet not too lavish, for someone who's interested in fashion and is preparing for nift i wouldn't recommend them to have a very big expectation in terms of package.packages differ from branch to branch and specialization to specialization. top recruiters are Raymonds,Tanishq ,Puma , UCB, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Limited , etc Last year's highest packages were 16 Lpa, 18 Lpa & 22 Lpa while the avg package range is about 5 lpa to 8 lpa
Campus Life :
Life at campus is super cool as students indulge in various co-curicular activities, field trips , industry visits , etc There are 4 clubs in our college - Cultural Club, Social Club , Sports Club and Literary Club which conducts various activities and events year round . There is no provision of Hostel for boys although for the girls There is one which is fine in terms of costing and accommodation but the food is far below from being labelled as standard... so 4/10 in terms of hostel food

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
