- The faculties are very good and the campus like and the people are very sweet and lovely to have around .
- The campus is a bit small but very beautiful and the resource centre is an absolutely gem.
Dislikes
- There’s some restrictions in some projects sometimes that’s a big problem .
- The campus is small even the classrooms are big but stacked with so many things and there’s no space to work freely.
Remarks :
No personal choice, always wanted to pursue designing as a career, and fashion and design are two things I had a keen interest in and nift was one of my top targets from the beginning and I’m happy that I’m here and I got into nift.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Fashion designing was on my list and it was a priority for me because I’m passionate about it and our facilities are highly educated and very professional yet easily approachable. There are 3 exams which are quite difficult but depend on the candidate. And for the high fees, there are schemes and scholarships available that can cover from 25-100% of the total fees.
Internships Opportunities :
I worked for some companies as a design intern in 2023 for a company called The Three based in Kolkata and I got 5k/ month I’m currently interning with an upcoming Brand so I can’t disclose the name but I’m getting 12.5k/month.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility is just you have to pass the 4 th year and some good company comes for campus placements like Aditya Birla ,Arvind , Puma etc and the package are alright but should have been better for the price we pay for the education and 60-70% students gets placement from college itself.
Campus Life :
Two fests happen one intra nift which happens around November-December and is very decorated and another is spectrum which happens in March. April once every year. The resource center is stacked with good books and available for an ample amount of time. There’s not a lot of sports opportunities but there’s everything you can play.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
