Remarks :
There are some factors in choosing this college. One of the reasons is this is the nearest Btech college from my house. My parents didn't want me to study anywhere by staying at the hostel for personal reasons. And me and my parents heard positive things about this college. One of my favourite seniors is from this college. They said so many positive things about this college and we appreciated that. The admission cell was very good and we were impressed in the first meeting. And honestly, the fees are comparatively less than the other colleges. No, I didn't face any group discussions, interviews or written tests for a.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the course on Electronics and communications engineering because you will have a good opportunity to get a core job and also in the IT sector. And the competition in the class is lesser than in the CSE department, to be honest. The curriculum is much harder than the other courses like CSE(DS) or CSE(AIML). The exams are just fine..you have to give 2 internal 30 marks Class test and 2 30 marks assignment. The semester is of 70 marks. Honestly the faculty members are so kind and friendly. They will help you whenever you need them and they are always ready to help. The study materials and notes are always provided to you. Important questions and class tests are regular things for your better improvement.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are well and good. Previous year our department had a very good placement. And now we are looking forward to having a better job opportunities. However as the job opportunities are all over very low in the state of West Bengal, many of the jobs are coming from outside the bengal.
Campus Life :
The all over campus is so much positive and healthy. you will not face any ragging or that kind of thing that will make someone low. You can ask for help from your seniors and classmates. I find them very kind and honest. There are various activities and events always going on on the campus. And you can participate there and there are clubs like photography clubs, dancing clubs etc..there are social groups run by students and they organise various types of events, social works etc. Sports and extracurricular activities are major things in the movie.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
